VE Modeler The Shunra VE network appliance is controlled through a highly intuitive and easy-to-use Microsoft Visio-based modeler, VE Modeler. The VE Modeler gives you complete flexibility to create any network topology and run any scenario, any way you want. You simply drag-and-drop your network components such as clouds, routers, endpoints, remote offices and end-users into the drawing, to create a visual network model of any network environment.

MPLS setup 2 (VE Modeler page) Once you’ve created your network model, you simply press 'play' to activate your test scenario. At this point any application, network service and infrastructure connected to the Shunra VE appliance will behave as if it were subjected to the conditions defined in the model. You will immediately "see and feel" exactly how remote end-users will experience your application under production conditions!

You can edit any network parameter at any time, to create current, future, worst DR (for VE Modeler page) case or "what-if" scenarios. And you can save and replay or reconfigure these scenarios over and over again to try out alternative solutions, verify problem resolution, and compare performance between different versions or technologies.

The modeler also provides an ideal way to plan and design future network topologies or network enhancements. You simply draw your future network topology and then run it through Shunra VE to see how your applications and/or infrastructure will perform on this network.
