Shunra is currently seeking a Training Consultant

Shunra Software is the market leader in distributed application performance solutions throughout the entire application development lifecycle for all platforms including WAN, Web, Cloud and Mobile. Our performance-engineering consultants work closely with Enterprises, eCommerce firms, Gaming companies and Mobile and Network Equipment Vendors to develop and deploy high performing applications and equipment across large scale networks.

Performance engineering services include the support of major projects such as datacenter and server migrations, WAN Acceleration, global application performance testing and large IT transformation. Our role is to understand how the network and underlying infrastructural changes these projects necessitate will impact application performance and recommend remediation strategies for any discovered performance challenges.

The position involves delivering training services to Shunra clients and partners, both onsite and online. In addition, this position will include developing computer based training programs to self enable the Shunra community with best practices and product knowledge.

Position Responsibilities

• Deliver awe inspiring training sessions to clients and partners both onsite and online.
• Manage the Shunra university training collateral so it is up to date.
• Develop a computer based training program to self enable the Shunra community with best practices and product knowledge.
• Evangelize Shunra’s best practices in social media outlets such as the Shunra APM blog, Twitter, LinkedIn and performance engineering forums and blogs.
• Follow Shunra’s world class service delivery methodologies, while assisting in innovating and updating these methodologies.
• Work closely with the Shunra sales and marketing team and assist them in marketing services and products.

Professional Qualifications

• Experience in developing successful computer based training programs.
• Excellent training skills.
• BS degree in Communication Systems Engineering or a Computer Science discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of training experience within the high tech industry, ideally in a field related to application performance testing, network and application performance analysis or performance optimization.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals.
• Superior presentation and communication skills, fluency in the English language, both written and verbal, required.
• Extensive travel - up to 60% required.
